Weekend update

I have been in a blogging rut lately, but I will try to do better. Now that it is getting nice outside, we spend most of our evenings outdoors with Ella.

Last weekend "Pops and Susu" came into town. It took a Ella a few minutes to warm up to them, but by Sat. morning Ella cried for Susu when she left. I know deep down inside Susie was smiling. We all spent alot of time outdoors and just hanging around the house. Monday morning they left and Ella was sad to see them go. However, they will be back in a few weeks to watch her while we go to my brother's wedding. They may have their bags at the front door when we get home.

Ella has so many funny things she does each day. I can just look at her and it makes me smile. She is the sweetest little girl and loves her mommy and daddy so much. She has turned into a daddy's girl though. The other day I had not seen her all day and I walked in from work and she looks at me and says "no mommy" (as in "leave"). I wanted to cry! She has her mommy days too, or should I say nights. When she wakes up in the middle of the night or does not feel good, it is all about mommy. Ella has also learned a new trick ... taking off her clothes! This drives me crazy. Most mornings when you go to get her out of bed she has her shirt up around her neck. Who knows why? Each day is a fun filled day with her, that is for sure.
