Ella is climbing in her house. It is so funny to watch her.
Can it be that Ella is really a toddler? According to her school she is. Tomorrow is her first day in Toddler A. She is moving out of the infant room. They have been transitioning her a few days a week and on Friday her teacher said she is for sure ready to go. She is almost walking and very active. I think she will like the curriculum there better too. It will keep her more entertained and she will be learning new things everyday. I am sad to leave the infant stage behind, but the toddler stage is proving to be so much fun.
It has been all about daddy this weekend that is for sure. Ella has a favorite each day. I am usually the go to when she is sick or tired. On Saturday I had a baby shower to go to for Lauren. The boys had nothing to do so they came and played with Brad and Ella. Brad thought it would be fun for Damon and Matt to get a little taste of having a little one around since Lauren is ready to have her baby any day and Leanne is due in Jan. Damon's first idea was lets go play lazer tag. OK, can you see Ella running around playing lazer tag at age 1? Matt's idea was lets go to a bar and have a few beers. HMM, Brad driving Ella after having a few beers. Not a good idea either. Daddy Brad suggested you guys come to the house and we will watch some sports on TV and take Ella to the pool. Whew, Matt and Damon will for sure have an adjustment, but I know will prove to be great daddy's.
Ella can say ball, uh oh, shirley, ba ba for bailey, momma, daddy, and few other things that I can not quiet make out yet. Brad and I are also very familiar with her favorite books, Ole Mc Donald, peek a boo, and the wheels on the bus go around and around. I do not even need the book to read these. She pulls them out of a stack of 50 books and says " a a", which means read this to me. I am glad she is showing so much interest in books though. Oh, I almost forgot Ella has another tooth. It popped through on Friday.
Have a great week.
