July 4th

We had a great long weekend. Friday evening we went over to MP and Stewart's house. Ella loved being over there playing with all of the children. She especially liked Lillian's toys. Saturday they had a big partyat the clubhouse and pool. It included bbq, fun games for the kids and of course the pool. We spent most of our day there. The neat thing was they shot off fireworks that night and Brad and I could sit outside and watch them from our porch. Bailey on the other hand hated it. Fireworks are not illegal here, so our neighbors were also letting them off everywhere. I think Bailey thought guns were going off. Of course Ella slept right thru all of the excitement. I think a freight train could go through her room and she would still be sleeping.

Sunday we all went to church. This was not a good idea for 2 reasons. First off we are trying to find a church we like and this was not it. We felt more like we were at a gospel service. People were dancing clapping and screaming. Who would of thought a Presbyterian Church would have all of this going on? Do not get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with it, just not our cup of tea. Secondly, Ella was terrible. The good thing was it was so loud in there Ella could not be heard over everyone else screaming. It will be hard to find a church we like, but trial and error I guess. The rest of Sun. was great. We relaxed most of the day and then went to the pool again.
