So, I have been in Louisville a little over 2 weeks and I am not kidding when I say it has rained 12 of the 14 days. I think everyone is getting alot of rain though. I saw Atlanta has lifted the water restriction too. The weather will take some getting used to. Our heat is still on at night. I think I turned the heat off in Atlanta in March. Other than that I do like being here.
I realized we were for sure in the burbs when Brad and I got flagged down by the little girls operating their lemonade stand in our neighborhood. I thought this only happened in the movies. It was so cute. They had the set up and everything. We each had lemonade and it was a quarter, but Brad only had a $5. You would think the girls hit the jack pot. I am so glad this is the kind of place Ella will grow up in. This is what I pictured for her.
Our week has been nice. We have played a lot and I am trying to stay to a strict schedule, which I know is good for her. Plus, everyone who knows me knows I like a routine. We get up around 7am play in the bed and I have my coffee. At 8:30 we have breakfast and then read a few books. I sing ABC's too. Then off to nap time while I run around the house getting things done. Ella wakes up and then we always get out for a bit, whether it is to Barnes and Noble to read books and see the kids, or my favorite Toys R' Us where I let Ella play with all the toys.
Ella seems to love her new home. She is saying so many words each day. Some is just screaming , but she is very vocal. She will copy anything you do. She is very smart if I do say so myself.
Have a great weekend!
