It's Crunch Time!

With only about a week and a half left on our life here in Atlanta, we've been pretty busy trying to do everything we've wanted to do before leaving town. Call it our "Atlanta Bucket List" if you will. We've had restaurants to frequent, places to go, friends to see, and oh yeah ... let's not forget the less enjoyable things like packing up all of our belongings, dealing with the mortgage companies, switching over all of our utilities, updating addresses, etc. Needless to say, it's been pretty hectic around here lately, and unfortunately the next 10 days will probably only get worse.

However, we have managed to have some fun in the between the chaos. Friday night we met Patrick and Julie out at Daddy D'z, which has arguably the best BBQ in Atlanta. It's not the most upscale place in the city, but it's got charm, and the food is great too. Saturday night we managed to turn Mellow Mushroom into "Chuck E. Cheese/Brookhaven". Our table consisted of 8 adults and 5 children ... pretty soon the adults are gonna be out numbered. While it was anything but quiet and relaxing, it was still a great time nonetheless. Needless to say, the pitchers of Sweetwater were going down fast as well.

This week my co-workers are throwing a happy hour and we have a few more dinners at our favorite restaurants (including a seafood place I'm dying to try called Aquaknox). Plus, Brad's parents will be in town this weekend to help watch Ella so we can go out. I can't wait for our girl's night on Saturday! I guess now instead of the girl's nights always being in Atlanta we will have to find a spa or beach to meet at!
