9-Months

Can you believe it? Ella is 9 months old! She had her check-up today and she is perfect. She is in the 95th% percentile for height, and is starting to thin out a little bit, weighing almost 21lbs. The doctor said her body is making it easier for her to move if she so chooses.

Ella had her first boo-boo at day-care last week. She was reaching for a toy and fell over and bumped her head. She had a pretty good size bruise, but her teacher at day-care said she did not even cry until they came over to comfort her and then she started screaming.
Ella is changing so much each day. "Mama" is her favorite word of course and she says it non- stop. I really do not think she knows I am mama, but it is still precious to hear her say it. She can also wave and say "bye bye". Her favorite thing to do these days is to feed herself. She is pretty much eating what we eat and loves everything I put in front of her ... even asparagus. The only thing is when you try to feed her she gets mad. Ella wants to do it herself. Bailey loves it; he cleans up her spills and is our vacuum cleaner.

This past weekend we went over to Mira and John's for a cookout. The girls had fun playing together. Ella is a little aggressive at times though. I am assuming this comes from being in day-care with 8 other kids. She does not like her personal space invaded and of course does not like to share. We also got to meet Jack, Joy and Brian's new addition. He is such a good baby!
