Tornado!

We all survived this weekend's terrible weather untouched, but it was still very scary. Brad was at a conference on Friday and then had to attend a dinner afterwards. He called me around 10pm and told me to wake up Ella and get into the interior bathroom downstairs because the GA Dome (which is less than 3miles from our house) had been hit by a tornado. Of course, I freaked out especially since I was by myself. I went to wake up Ella and head to the bathroom, but luckily the news said that it had moved on and was leaving our area. We were very lucky and I sure realized that when I woke up Saturday morning and saw all of the damage.

The rest of the weekend was much better. My best friend Ellen had her baby on Thursday afternoon. I came down with a cold at the start of the week so I was not able to visit until Sunday when I was better. Ameilia was precious and Julie is already becoming a great big sister! It made me want another baby ... until Ellen started talking about the sleepless nights. I think I can wait awhile. I am so mad that I forgot my camera, but I will remember when I visit next time so I can post pics of Ameilia.

Also, Ella can now crawl!! Well, she can scoot backwards, which I think is great. She moves pretty fast too. She also said "ma ma" on Friday. Of course, no one else has heard it but me. That is ok though. I was jumping up and down when she said it and started saying "yea" and clapping my hands. Ella was cracking up.
