We started off in Knoxville on Thursday night. It was the half way point and we thought it might be best plus mom spent some time with Ella. Friday once we got to Louisville we stopped by MaryPatt and Stewart's place to see their new addition Lillian, born just a few weeks ago. She is just now 7lbs and she felt so small to me. She is an adorable baby. It was neat to share stories about what has been going on. I just experienced the ups and downs of being a new mommy not long ago so we could for sure relate. Friday evening we headed over to Brad's grandparents for them to meet Ella. It was bobo's birthday so we had cake and ice cream with him and a few of Brad's Aunts and Uncles. You could see Brad's grandparents light up when we walked in and they saw Ella for the first time. I know it was special for them and us. We had not seen his Aunts and Uncles since our wedding!
While we were in Louisville we stayed with Austin and he threw a small party at his house. This was great for two reasons. The first is we did not have to go to 10 different places and the second is we put Ella to bed and we could stay up partying with everyone. It was alot of fun. Brad is so proud of Ella, so he could not wait for all of his friends to meet her. Thanks to Austin for having us. His house was perfect and it was great because he had alot of baby stuff we could use.
Sun. we headed back to Knoxville for the night and made our way back to Atlanta on Mon. We really had such a nice time and wish we could make it up to Louisville more often but the drive can be a little much at times.

Brad has found Ella's tickle spot on her tummy and she cracks up. She is also getting really good at putting her passey back in her mouth. Brad and I were playing with her and he said you know, I could just watch her for hours. Who knows what all we miss during the day sometimes
