Lazy Weekend

We are all finally starting to feel better after a weekend with a lot of sleep. I was off on Friday so I was able to finish some last minute Christmas Shopping. The rest of the day Ella and I just hung out and rested. Saturday was pretty much the same thing. The weather was really bad and with Ella being sick this past week, we did not want to get her out too much. Sunday the 3 of us spent some time together laying around on the couch and then grabbed lunch after running a few errands. I think I will actually go to work tomorrow feeling rested, which has not happened in a while. I am so glad Ella is feeling better too!

Ella is starting to copy certain facial expressions Brad or I make. It is so funny. Her favorite thing to do is stick her tongue out and then grab it with her hand. It is like she is not sure what it is. I will stick mine out at her and she will do it back to me. I was telling Brad right now we are teaching her to do this and a year from now we will be telling her sticking her tongue out at people or blowing spit bubbles is not nice.

Brad has a birthday coming up this week. April and Scott are nice enough to watch Ella so I can take Brad out for his steak dinner, his request every year. I enjoy it too.
