We had a very nice and restful weekend. Friday was dress up day at Ella's day care. All of the children dressed up in their costumes and that afternoon there was a party outside. They had all kinds of fun things to do. We enjoyed getting off work a little early so we could spend some time meeting the other parents.
Sat. Ella slept until 8:30 so we slept until 8:30 too. I took a week off from the gym between traveling, getting ready for Ella's baptism, and getting rid of a cold I was not much up for working out. Sat. morning I got back in the swing of things. That evening we went to dinner with April, Scott and Andrew to Osteria. I love this restaurant for 2 reasons. The first is, it is full of kids so Ella's screaming does not disturb anyone and the food is really good too. Sun. Brad Ella and myself spent the day together. We started off with a lazy Sun. moring and a good breakfast. Of course no weekend is complete without running tons of errands. After running around getting things ready for the week Ella and I spent the rest of the day enjoying the beautiful weather while Brad went to play golf.
Ella's newest trick is talking and she wants to make sure everyone hears her. I can stand outside and hear her from inside the house. We thought this was so cute at first, but now we are starting to wonder. Can she really get any louder? I guess the neat thing about her learning to talk is that she can also giggle which is so much fun.
Happy Halloween!!
